Fine Craft Beers at Your Doorstep

Hello, all welcome to my second blog post. Today we are going to stray from the norm and we are going to examine another site similar to mine. Tavour is a mobile app that popped up on my mobile device while I was scrolling on Instagram. It is an app on your phone that allows you to View  various craft beers and IPA’s and they deliver them to you at your doorstep.  First we will analyze different ways they obtain traffic. They are a relatively new company so they generally use referral paid advertising to gain their traffic. Tavour is a App available of google play and Apples app store. they generally don’t receive much traffic from Traffic Direct methods  (direct URL search) as they are an app. They do however provide extensive instructions on how to download the app as well as the available features. This helps with their primary conversion which would be downloading of the actual app.

In addition, I even learned something new about this particular app, you can even have your own journal and share with others the beer you have tried. This provides the consumer with real time reviews from actual people. The download was quick and easy as well as the sign up.

This site does well on conversions on the sheer fact it has a good mobile platform. As you can see in the first picture it provides everything you need in the menu bar to the left. Here you can find all you account info, about Tavour, Promos, Free Beer, And featured beer. they failed on their secondary conversion for me which would involve me actually purchasing the beer. They provide a good Platform with excellent Pages and clickable Icons. However, they just seem to lack in actual seleccion quantity, they limit you to only the select beers listed and the beers listed are for the most part wicked expensive. Some of these Beers I have never actually heard of but for the price I could go down to the local pricechopper and buy craft IPA’s at a cheap price. this si why they failed  to catch my conversion. as far as the future success of the App, it seems up in the air. But if anyone like me downloads this app ( a college student) they probably would find little use for it. However that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check it out
